Low Carb Walmart Grocery Haul

April 14, 2019Laura

Another week, another grocery haul. I made my shopping list and realized I needed a few items that I can only find at Walmart, so that’s where I went this week. You may notice there’s no meat in this picture, I’ll explain why below. I’ll also include a few product details as well as my dinners planned for the week.

Here’s what I picked up this week:

  • Eggs, shredded Mexican cheese, parmesan cheese, Two Good Yogurts, cream cheese, butter
  • Green beans, mini peppers, onions, jalapenos, cucumber, strawberries, lemons
  • Panino snacks, sausage patties
  • Chicken broth, diced tomatoes, cumin, chili powder
  • Sugar free ketchup, BBQ sauce, teriyaki marinade, buffalo sauce
  • Whisp cheese crisp
  • Joseph Lavash pita bread

Product Highlights:

I love these cheese crisp. They make the perfect snack and are only 2 carbs per serving. They are located on top of the speciality cheese case by the deli at any Walmart I’ve shopped at.

It’s been a long time since I’ve purchased these low carb pita breads. They contain 6 net carbs per bread. They are on the bread aisle at my Walmart, but I’ve also seen them near the deli.

I purchased this parmesan cheese at Costco a few days ago when I stopped by to pick up water. I’ve never tried it before, but like that it doesn’t contain any additives or fillers.

These meat and cheese sticks make the perfect snack. You can find them with the pepperoni and they are 1 carb per pack.

I always highlight these Two Good yogurts since I’m always asked about them. They are 3 carbs each and so tasty! Here’s a store locator.

These Great Value sausage patties are my favorite! You can find them in the freezer section.

I love the G. Hughes line of sauces. I was completely out of ketchup and running low on the BBQ sauce. I picked up the teriyaki sauce to have on hand when I need an easy dinner. I’ve tried it before and it’s super good! They also have a honey mustard sauce that I love!

This is why I didn’t buy meat this week. The folks over at Butcher Box reached and sent me all of this meat! It includes chicken breast, ground beef, pork chops, chuck roast, various steaks, bacon and ground sausage. My freezer is packed! Their beef is 100% grass fed/grass finished and the chicken is free-range organic. How does Butcher Box work? You choose or customize your box of meat and it’s delivered straight to your doorstep. The boxes start at $129.

ButcherBox is offering a Breakfast Bundle now through April 30th. New customers who sign up will receive 2 lbs of breakfast sausage & 2 packs of bacon for free in their first box! Here’s the link if you’re interested.
