I used to love Manwich before starting keto! I’ve been craving it for a long time and after looking at a can at the grocery store, decided I would make my own. It turned out really tasty and was approved by my non-keto husband! It actually tastes better than the canned sauce and is made with simple ingredients.
I used half of a Cutdacarb flatbread as my “bun” and it was perfect! I added the sloppy joe mixture and shredded cheese into the flatbread, folded it in half and pan fried it until it was crispy. I didn’t even miss the bun! You could also use your favorite low carb bun or bread for a more traditional sloppy joe. I like serving mine with any low carb veggie such as green beans and it’s great with a side of coleslaw or broccoli salad as well.
Another option is on a chaffle. I keep mine basic and use an egg and shredded cheese, but there are tons of recipe variations that you can Google. These sloppy joes are super easy to make and only require basic pantry ingredients. Enjoy!
