Keto Trail Mix

February 3, 2021Laura

A lot of companies are jumping on the keto bandwagon. Recently, I’ve noticed a lot of pre-packaged keto trail mixes in several stores that I shop at. I picked up a couple of different brands and wasn’t impressed with either. They were pricey and mostly just a mixture of nuts. I decided to make my own, so I could customize it to my liking. Plus it’s much cheaper!

For this keto trail mix, I used cheese crisps, sugar free chocolate chips (a variety of milk and white chocolate), peanuts, pecans, almonds and unsweetened coconut chips. It was perfect and made a ton to snack on for the next couple of weeks. If you don’t have a food kitchen scale, I highly recommend purchasing one. It’s perfect to measure out foods, like nuts, that are easy to over indulge in. I linked a scale in my Amazon favorites below.

My favorite sugar free chocolate chips are the ChocZero brand. I always keep both the milk and white chocolate chips on hand. If you’re interested in ordering any of their products, you can use the discount code “getfitlaura” at checkout for 10% off your entire order. You can visit their website here.

I love making simple snack boards/plates for lunches. It’s just like an adult lunchable with so much variety. This board includes this trail mix, salami topped with cream cheese and Everything but the bagel seasoning, cucumbers, mini pepper slices, cheese and berries. If you need snack plate ideas, there are several on my Instagram page.
