Keto Creamy Pork Chops

I can’t believe it’s been almost 3 months since I wrote a blog post. I have really missed recipe creating and interacting with you! During my break, I did jot down several recipe ideas and decided to start with these Keto Creamy Pork Chops. Also coming soon will be a Keto Antipasto Salad and a couple of slow cooker recipes. I look forward to sharing them with you in the near future! I do have a few pork chop recipes in my E-Cookbook, but this is the first pork recipe that I’ve created for the blog. It turned out SO good and I am excited to finally post the recipe.

I am a huge fan of creamy skillets. I have a Creamy Lemon Chicken Skillet here on the blog, as well as a Creamy Parmesan Garlic Chicken in my e-book. The flavor profiles are different, but they’re all super easy to make. My husband loves them as well, so they are a regular on our dinner menu. This pork chop recipe will definitely be added to our monthly rotation. It’s also a one pan recipe and those are my favorite!

For this recipe, I used boneless pork chops, a variety of seasonings and made a cream sauce from chicken broth, garlic, seasonings, parmesan cheese and heavy cream. The chops turned out perfect and the cream sauce was amazing!

For sides, I recommend roasted broccoli, cauli rice, asparagus, cauli mash or green beans. Any low carb veggie you like would pair perfectly with this dish. If you give this skillet a try, I hope you enjoy it!

Keto Creamy Pork Chops

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Cook time: 20 minutes
  • Serves: 4

Ingredients

Pork Chops:

  • 4 boneless pork chops, about 1.5 pounds
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3/4 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, or to taste
  • 2 Tbsp butter

Cream Sauce:

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Large pinch red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • Parsley, for garnish

Method

Pork Chops:

  • 1)

    Combine pork chop seasonings together in a small bowl. Season pork chops with seasoning mixture.

  • 2)

    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook pork chops on both sides until browned and cooked through. 

  • 3)

    Transfer pork chops to a plate and cover with aluminum foil while you make the cream sauce. 

Cream Sauce:

  • 1)

    Carefully wipe excess grease from skillet with a paper towel, leaving some of the brown bits in the pan. 

  • 2)

    Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. 

  • 3)

    Add chicken broth and seasonings to the skillet. Bring to a boil and allow to simmer for 5 minutes. 

  • 4)

    Whisk in parmesan cheese and heavy cream. Bring to a soft boil, then simmer for 3-5 minutes, until heated through. Return pork chops to skillet. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
