Keto Cheese Crisp Nachos

If you have been on a low carb diet for very long, you have probably already seen one of the many recipes for these cheese crisp. They are one of the first things I made when I started keto. Both chips and crackers are something that I miss the most and these make a great substitute. Then I started making nachos with them and that was a game changer for me!  My non-keto husband even loves them!

I think this recipe is the one I referenced when I first started making the cheese crisp. There are tons out there though. You can bake them on parchment paper, on a silicon baking mat or in a whoopie pie pan if you like pretty ones.

Keto Cheese Crisp Nachos

  • Prep time: 3 minutes
  • Cook time: 10 minutes
  • Serves: 2
  • Calories: Calculate based on toppings used


  • Shredded cheese, I use mild cheddar


  • 1)

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line your baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat.

  • 2)
    Form small circles with a heaping tablespoon of shredded cheese.
  • 3)

    Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy.

  • 4)
    Allow them to cool for a few minutes before assembling the nachos. I usually top mine with ground beef or chicken, queso, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, lettuce and jalapenos.


Calculate macros based on type of cheese & toppings used.
