Keto Air Fryer Green Beans

I just moved into a new place last week and decided it was time for a new air fryer. I had an older one, but the basket was on the small side and didn’t hold much. I’ve made a couple of things in this air fryer and am loving it so far! I will link the one I ordered in my Amazon favorites below. I want to start putting some air fryer recipes on the blog and decided to start with these easy green beans. 

For this recipe, you will need fresh green beans, a little olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. It doesn’t get any easier than that! I like my green beans nice and browned. Since I had never used this air fryer for green beans before, I watched them closely and they ended up taking about 12 minutes. Air fryer times do vary, so  keep that in mind when making any air fryer recipe. Once they were finished cooking, I served them immediately with dinner and garnished them with some bacon bits. Keto Air Fryer Green Beans

  • Prep time: 5 minutes
  • Cook time: 12 minutes
  • Serves: 4
  • Calories 42.7

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bag fresh green beans
  • 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp salt, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method

  • 1)

    Place green beans in a large bowl. Add olive oil and toss to coat. Add seasonings and toss once more.

  • 2)

    Add to air fryer basket. Cook on 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or until desired doneness is reached. Toss halfway through cooking time. Air fryers cook differently, watch closely so they don’t burn. 

  • 3)

    Garnish with bacon bits or a squeeze of lemon juice, if desired. Serve immediately.
