Easy Keto Baked Cheeseburgers

These baked cheeseburgers turned out so good that I had to share them on the blog! I’ve had this blog for a couple of years now and I can’t believe I haven’t shared a single burger recipe. Burgers have been one of my keto staples since the very beginning. They are easy, filling and you get to have a lot of yummy toppings with them. I don’t even miss the bun! These burgers are extra easy since they are baked. I love the square shape too!

My favorite toppings are lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles and jalapenos. I have a homemade burger sauce that is great as well! I also like pairing bunless burgers with bacon, avocado slices, mustard, mayo and sugar free ketchup. I used cheddar cheese for this recipe, but you can use your favorite sliced cheese. I also love pepper jack, swiss and provolone. For sides, I like to make a batch of my low carb coleslaw, green beans, deviled eggs or even broccoli salad. I baked these burgers in a square 8×8 baking dish. I put the ground beef, worcestershire sauce and the seasonings into a large mixing bowl. I gave everything a good mix with my hands and pressed the mixture down into the baking dish. Once it was baked and fully cooked, I topped the beef with the cheese slices and allowed the cheese to melt. I cut the burgers into four squares and served the patties with my toppings. It couldn’t get any easier than that!

Easy Keto Baked Cheeseburgers

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Cook time: 18 minutes
  • Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef, I used 93%
  • 1/2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 4 slices favorite cheese, I used cheddar

Method

  • 1)

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a medium mixing bowl, mix ground beef with worcestershire sauce and seasonings until combined.

  • 2)

    Press mixture down into an 8×8 square baking pan. Bake for 18 minutes, until no longer pink and cooked through. A meat thermometer should read 160 degrees F. 

  • 3)

    Carefully drain excess grease from the pan. Top meat with cheese slices and place back into the oven until melted, about 2-3 minutes. 

  • 4)

    Allow to rest for 5 minutes and cut into 4 squares. Serve with your favorite toppings and condiments.
